AFA stands for amino-based filaggrin antioxidants. 

AFA is formulated with a blend of amino-based filaggrin antioxidants to work synergistically with the skin’s other natural moisture factors (NMFs). Filaggrin is a protein of the epidermis  which metabolizes into amino acids and acts as one of the primary agents for retaining  moisture in the skin.  

AFA products exfoliate, repair and refine skin with minimal irritation, making them an ideal solution for patients with all skin types who are experiencing acne, general signs of aging, or even sun damage.

You should experience only minor, temporary erythema (redness) after the treatment. Some exfoliation or flaking of skin can occur 24-48 hours after treatment.  

The peel is formulated to create a tighter, firmer complexion as well as improvement in the overall appearance of the skin. Softening of fine lines. Combating dry skin. Smoothing out rough texture. Diminishing pigmentary problems. The AFA Antioxidant Facial Peel treats skin in a variety of ways.

Most patients experience little to no adverse effects from the AFA Clay Peel. On occasion, side effects such as mild swelling, redness, or peeling to mild scabbing have been experienced, and are temporary.  

It is recommended to have a series of 6 consecutive applications with each peel 2 weeks apart for dramatically improved, soft and smooth skin.

BioRePeel can treat the following conditions: sun damage, blemishes, hyperpigmentation (PIH), scarring, rosacea, large pores, melasma, and general skin rejuvenation. You must not have an allergy to Aspirin or any other of the peel ingredients. You cannot have any open skin wounds or rashes on the area to be treated.

A single session of BioRePeel is quick and effective, taking about 15 minutes. It can be paired with other treatments such as dermaplaning or microneedling which will increase our session time.

At your initial consultation we will discuss your individual needs and desired outcome. Based on that you may require 4-6 sessions depending on the severity of your condition. Treatments are spread out 7-10 days apart. BioRePeel can also be performed as a standalone treatment for skin maintenance or before an event to provide that amazing skin glow!

BioRePeel does not require any numbing and is a needle free, painless treatment.

BioRePeel is known for is minimal to NO DOWNTIME results. No excessive peeling, however it is normal to experience slight dryness or flaking in areas. 

You can return to your normal skincare routine after 4 days. You will be sent home with post care products to use the first 3 days. 

This peel is safe for all skin types and ethnicities (Fitzpatrick I–VI) and is virtually painless, with a quick application time of approximately 15 minutes.

Clients can expect visible peeling or shedding for 2–4 days, followed by noticeably brighter, smoother, and more even skin in about one week.

Designed for advanced pigmentation concerns. Helps improve stubborn hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damage, and discolouration for a more even complexion.

Clear Acne Booster
Targets active acne and congestion. Helps reduce breakouts, calm inflammation, control oil production, and improve post-acne marks.

No numbing is required because the formula contains Phenol, a compound that acts as a gentle numbing agent upon application. This peel provides an almost painless experience, with only a brief 30–60 second stinging sensation before the skin becomes desensitized. 

Visible peeling varies from person to person. Some clients experience noticeable shedding for several days, while others see a lighter flaking process. Peeling typically begins around 72 hours after treatment and is usually complete by day seven, with skin continuing to improve and reveal a smoother, brighter complexion in the days that follow.

Every PERFECT DERMA™ PEEL includes a take-home post-peel kit with everything you need to care for your skin. Your provider will review each item and give clear instructions on how to support your skin during the recovery process.

Most clients can resume their regular skincare routine one week after the peel, once the skin has fully renewed.
