Depending on the aesthetic issues being treated, it is recommended to have 1 to 4 treatments. Treatments are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

CoolPeel treatments do not require numbing. However, if the issues being treated are more severe and require more aggressive settings to be used, topical numbing cream may be used so you’re more comfortable.

Because the CoolPeel provides minimal downtime, you can expect to be red like a sunburn for about 24 to 48 hours. From there, your skin may feel dry and have a sandpaper-like feeling to it for 5 to 7 days post-treatment while healing. It is important to keep your skin well hydrated during the healing phase.
You should be able to return to your normal daily activities the day after your treatment.

Hydrated skin heals best, so it’s important to keep your skin hydrated while healing. In addition, you may want to avoid certain products during this time. Your provider will talk to you about the best post-treatment care and they’ll review the products you’re using. From there, they’ll advise you on when to return to your regular skincare routine.
